Remington - Nose and Ear Trimmer AND Philips Nose Trimmer Series 3000
My name is spelt: Ewan Andries Van Der Walt.
My name is pronounced: YOU-an ON-drase van der VAULT. (In Andries, you roll the R).
The name Ewan has several origins. The main one, is that it is an anglicisation (changed by to English)
of the Scottish Gaelic name Ẹghann. Ẹghann means 'born of the yew tree', yew trees were typically used to
make bows, so being called Ẹghann usually meant you were some form of archer. Another meaning for
the name Ewan, is that it is derived from the Pictish name Vuen (or 'Wen') which means 'born of the mountain'.
My name can be interpreted as either, however the actual reason I was called Ewan is due to my Welsh roots.
The Welsh spelling of the name is either Owain or Owen when Anglicised. Iwan and Iuan are other spellings
of the name, the Cornish variants. Ouen is the French or Breton spelling of the name aswell. Euan
is also a word from the language of science, Latin, which means Bacchus. Bacchus is the greek god of wine. My
names meanings are; Born of the Mountain, Noble Born or Born of the Yew Tree.
The name Andries is pronounced with a rolled r. Andries is my middle name, and as a boys name, is of Greek
origin. It means 'man' or 'warrior'. It however has another meaning, which is an ancient Scottish tribe called the
Picts. Anyone with the name Andries as a last, first or middle name is most likely reelated the ancient Picts. The name
Andries itself is derived from the Gaelic name Mac Aindreis, which means son of Andrew. Its roots
lie deep in the Netherlands, and today it is often used in Afrikaans speaking contries, such as Zimbabwe. The name Andries
is incredibly old, of pre Christian Greek origins, and has an incredibly large amount of possible spellings.

The Cupressus Glabra is an evergreen pine tree native to Arizona. In my
opinion, pine trees are really nice looking and the C.glabra is my favorite one.
This is a photo of the pine tree the day it was planted:
Here is a timeline of my tree and this website. It will be updated with every significant change to the tree.
